Day 1


Arrival in Mexico City. Meeting at the airport with a Russian-speaking guide and transfer to the 5 * hotel.

Day 2


Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Mexico City with a visit to the historic center of the city (in the UNESCO list) - Sokalo Square, near which are the ruins of the ancient ritual center of the Aztecs. Earlier here was the pyramid Templo Mayor, and now - a museum and a place of archaeological excavations. Inspection of the main Catholic Cathedral of Mexico. Visit the Presidential Palace, where the frescoes of the famous Mexican artist Diego Riviera are located. *

Day 3


After breakfast, we will begin our journey from the great city of Tula, built by representatives of another disappeared civilization of Mexico - the Toltecs. The city is known for its Atlantis - huge sculptures, each weighing 8 tons. The culture of the Toltecs had a huge impact on the culture of the Aztecs, Maya, etc. Then we will visit the city of Queretaro, famous for its majestic buildings: parishes, churches and monasteries, as well as the famous aqueduct. In the evening, arrival in the colonial city of Guanajuato, declared by UNESCO as the property of mankind and famous for the world-famous mines, which produce silver, picturesque streets and alleys (the famous "lane of kisses"). Day 4


Breakfast. Today we will visit one of the most beautiful cities of Mexico - San Miguel de Allende, listed in the list of "Magic Cities of Mexico" and recognized as a National Monument. Its stone streets, beautiful facades of the houses, the incomparable parish of San Miguel, executed in a pseudo-Gothic style, churches, museums and magnificent mansions with luxurious facades of the past centuries make an unforgettable impression on tourists. Then we will visit Antonilco. Here is the Church of Jesus of Nazareth is located, from where Miguel Hidalgo took the icon of the Blessed Virgin of Guadalupe to proclaim this sacred symbol of the War of Independence. In the parish, you can also see the images of the devil in various religious scenes and illustrations of Biblical motifs made by the Indians in past centuries (additional payment). Day 5


After breakfast, we are leaving to Morelia. On the way, we'll visit Corralejo Manor, where tequila is made. Here for several centuries produce the symbol of Mexico, a drink that has become its national pride. We learn the secrets of making different varieties of this world-famous drink. Tasting is a mandatory part of the program! Then we'll go to Morelia through the beautiful state of Michoacan. Visiting the city of Patzcuaro, located on the shore of the lake of the same name and considered one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Mexico. In addition to the beautiful climate, it is known for its ancient history and cultural monuments. We arrive in Morelia, a city that is famous for its architecture, where we will stay overnight at the 4 * hotel. Morelia is called a "pink city", and its historical centre is the property of mankind.

Day 6


Today we will get acquainted with the mysterious natural place in Mexico, with the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve. Every year, in October, they migrate by millions in search of a warm place to relax. After a long journey, the duration of which is more than 6000 km, they gain strength and grow their offspring in Mexico. The reserve is in a wooded mountainous area at an altitude of about 3000 meters above sea level. There are eight colonies of this butterfly in the park. On the territory of the biosphere reserve, between November and March, up to a billion individuals winter. You are not allowed to touch them, or take them with you! Use comfortable shoes, as we will walk through the forest for several hours. In the evening, we will arrive to the famous town of Tasco, where we will spend 2 nights.

Day 7


After breakfast, we will visit the ancient settlement of pre-Columbian era - Shochikalko (which means "house of flowers" in Nahuatl), which is located at the height of natural hills, surrounded by a beautiful valley in the western part of the Mexican state of Morelos. The flourishing of Shochikalko as a political, religious and commercial center occurred in the period following the breakup of the great states of Central America, such as Teotihuacan, Monte Alban, Palenque and Tikal. Of interest are sculptural reliefs on the walls of some buildings. In the temple of the Feathered Dragon there are images of this deity, whose style clearly speaks of the influence of the art of Teotihuacan and Maya. In 1999, Shochikolko was listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO and became very popular with tourists. Further excursion to the Grottoes of Cacauamilpa. The most beautiful caves of the country with 27 illuminated halls are stretched for 1.400 m, the height of some is up to 80 m. There are a lot of unusual stalactite and stalagmite formations, on their surface you can view images of animals, people, various fantastic forms of the Cacauamilpa Cave - the most famous and visited in Mexico. Day 8


After a short trip (2.5 hours), we will be in the most famous place to relax in Mexico - in the city of Acapulco. A short city tour will end in La Quebrada, where you will be introduced to the world-famous "Diving Show". Day 9

ACAPULCO - TEPOSTLAN - MEXICO (approximately 6 hours)

After breakfast, we will go to the picturesque town in the state of Morelos - Tepostlan, listed in the list of "Magic Cities of Mexico", known as Teposteko. Located among the mountains of the state of Morelos, the city has preserved the unique and colorful features of traditional Mexico. At the top of the mountain are the ruins of the ancient temple of Teposteko, dedicated to the god of fertility. In the city, itself you will see the Church of Birth and Annunciation, built in 1570. Day 10

MEXICO - PUEBLA - OAHAKA (approximately 11 hours)

After breakfast, we leave the capital for Puebla. On the way, you can see the famous volcanoes of Mexico: Popocatepetl (active volcano), Istaksiatl and Peak Orizaba. Visit the "city of angels" - Puebla (in the UNESCO list), famous for the colonial style of the past centuries, its cuisine, Talavera ceramics, handicrafts, churches and chapels. Day 11

OAHAKA-MONTE-ALBAN-TULA (approximately 12 hours)

Breakfast. Tour to Monte Alban (in the UNESCO list) - the ceremonial center of the ancient Zapotec civilization, one of the most impressive archaeological zones of Mexico, located on the plateau, with a panoramic view of the Oaxaca Valley. Day 12


After breakfast, we will drive through the Sierra Madre mountains to the Sumidero Canyon and take a boat. Sometimes along the route you can see crocodiles and monkeys. Day 13

SAN CRISTOBAL - MISOL-HA-PALENCIA (approximately 10 hours)

After breakfast, we will visit the Indian village of San Juan Chamula, famous for its church, where local rituals dedicated to the Catholic saints are performed. In a room, full of mystery, consecrated with thousands of candles, prayers are spoken in the Maya dialect. It's impressive! Day 14

PALENQUE – CAMPECHE (approximately 10 hours)

After breakfast, tour to one of the largest ceremonial centers of the Maya - Palenque. Next, we will visit the picturesque and friendly Campeche (in the UNESCO list). We recommend you to make a trip on the tourist tram (for an additional fee). Accommodation in a 4 * hotel in Campeche or in the surrounding area.

Day 15

CAMPECHE - UXMAL - MERIDA (approximately 10 hours)

After breakfast, we will go to Uxmal, one of the most beautiful Mayan cities, a majestic example of the architecture of the Puuk style, which has not lost its charm even today (in the UNESCO list). The next point of our trip is the capital of the state of Yucatan - Merida. The interest for tourists is Independence Square and Paseo del Montejo - a large avenue, where are luxury residences in European style, built in the late XIX - early XX centuries. Then there will be a city tour of Merida, famous for its colonial cathedrals and palaces. Accommodation in 4 * hotel in Merida.



On the way from Uxmal to Merida we will stop at Celestun, a small settlement on the west of the Yucatan Peninsula, on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. Here you will visit the magnificent biosphere reserve of pink flamingos and admire the large colony of these amazing birds that graze in the shallows near the narrow spit that separates the bay from the lagoon. Your lightweight flat-bottomed vessel will silently approach the flock, so that you can enjoy the stunning spectacle in the vicinity. During the boat trip, you also swim deep into the mangroves, forming a kind of picturesque canopy over the waters of the river.

Day 16

MERIDA - CHICHEN-ITZA - IK KIL - CANCUN (approximately 10 hours)

After breakfast, we will visit the archaeological area of Chichen Itza, where one of the 7 wonders of the world is located - the pyramid of Kukulkan (in the UNESCO list) and the cenote Ik-Kil (an underground lake of rare natural beauty, formed by a failure in karst caves). You can swim. Arrival in Cancun or Riviera Maya in the evening *.
* We recommend not to plan flights from Cancun on the day of the end of the tour, and stay at the hotel for at least one night. Keep in mind that check-in at the airport starts no later than 2-3 hours before departure.
